Sandwiches with Homemade Frankfurt Sauce and Pork Neck

Small snack sandwiches can be prepared quite inexpensively, but it will be beautiful, satisfying, and very tasty! A striking example is sandwiches with egg-sour cream piquant sauce and boiled-smoked pork neck.

Ingredients

  • Khutorskoy bread with seeds – 1/4 of a small loaf
  • Pork neck, boiled-smoked – 60-70 g
  • Fresh dill – 6-7 branches
  • Chicken egg – 1 pc.
  • Lemon – 1/3 pc.
  • Ginger root – 3 cm
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Hot red pepper (chili), thin slices from a pod – 4 pcs.
  • Sour cream (15% fat) – 3 tbsp
  • Mustard – 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil (for frying bread pieces) – very little
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. It is necessary to cut the bread – first along, then across. And the pork neck – in thin slices.
  2. Then prepare the ingredients for the Frankfurt green sauce: cut the hard-boiled egg into cubes, finely chop the washed and dried dill (previously freed from tough stems), grate the ginger (peeled), and crush the garlic (also peeled). Sprinkle everything generously with lemon juice.
  3. In a bowl, mix all prepared ingredients deeper with sour cream and mustard.
  4. Fry the bread slices for sandwiches in a little vegetable oil on both sides until a pleasant, soft crispy crust. Cool and place cooked Frankfurt sauce on each of the slices.
  5. Top the sandwiches with slices of pork neck and red chili, as well as small dill sprigs.
