  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 pack sauerkraut
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon broth
  • Teaspoon honey
  • some cumin
  • some pepper
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste

Instructions

  1. Chop the potatoes, carrots and onions and fry them briefly in olive oil. Add the sauerkraut from the package, let it stew briefly and then pour water over it. Stir in a tablespoon of tomato paste.
  2. Season to taste with broth and season with caraway seeds, at the end (because of the acidity) add a dollop of honey.
  3. Makes a tasty, hearty winter soup and is very figure-friendly.
