Ingredients

  • 500 ml chicken broth, clear
  • 1 onion (s), chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 200 g sauerkraut, fresh
  • Paprika powder, noble sweet
  • some caraway seeds, ground
  • 1 pinch (s) cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 1 red pepper (s), cut very finely
  • 100 g noodles (soup noodles), cooked
  • salt and pepper
  • Maggi (liquid seasoning)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta. Sweat the finely chopped onion in butter. Press in the clove of garlic and add the chopped sauerkraut.
  2. Dust with paprika powder, some ground caraway seeds, some cayenne pepper and the flour and sauté everything briefly. Then add a red pepper, very finely chopped. Deglaze with the broth. Let simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. At the end add the boiled soup noodles to the soup. Season to taste with salt, pepper and liquid seasoning.
