Ingredients
- 3 kg turkey or chicken
- 500 g onion (s)
- 2 gr. Can / s beans (French beans)
- 2 large cans mushrooms
- 1 jar tomato peppers
- 2 glasses sauce (gypsy sauce), possibly 3
- 3 cups sour cream
- 2 cups cream
- Spice mix for gyros

- Drain the beans, tomato peppers and mushrooms. Peel onions and pour into rings, tomato peppers and cut into pieces. Cut the meat into strips and season well with gyros seasoning as required (no caution, poultry can tolerate a lot of seasoning!).
- Layer the ingredients in a roaster: meat, beans, gypsy sauce, mushrooms, tomato peppers, onions. This is repeated at least twice. Beat the sour cream and cream until smooth and cover the ingredients with it. Place the roasting pan (or Römertopf, but do not preheat it!) With the lid closed for approx. 2 hours at 200 ° C in the preheated oven. In the last 15 minutes, remove the lid and stir vigorously.
- Baguette goes well with it.
- Tip: You can also prepare this dish with lamb.
