  • 400 g suar
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 100 g semolina
  • 0.5 ½ point baking powder
  • 1 kg quark
  • 2 points vanilla sugar

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter and mix with the sugar and eggs in a large bowl. Add semolina, quark, vanilla sugar and baking powder and mix everything to a smooth dough.
  2. Grease a round cake pan with a little butter and sprinkle with a little semolina so that everything is covered very thinly. Pour the dough into the mold and smooth the surface.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 40 minutes until the surface is golden brown. When the cake is ready, let it cool a little in the warm, switched-off oven, so it does not collapse.
  4. The cake tastes best a day later, when it is really pulled through. If it is kept in the refrigerator, it is wonderfully fresh even in summer!
  5. If you like it a little sweeter, you can stir a packet of vanilla pudding into the batter.
