Ingredients

  • 400 g salami (noble salami)
  • 1 meat sausage
  • 500 g soup meat
  • 500 g sauerkraut
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 1 bell pepper (s), yellow
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 1 glass pickled cucumber (s)
  • 1 sachet spice mixture for solyanka
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 3 allspice grains
  • 1 bottle ketchup
  • salt and pepper
  • chili
  • sugar

Instructions

  1. Cook the soup meat with allspice grains, bay leaves and a pinch of salt until the lean meat can be peeled off. Remove the meat from the bone and store in a small bowl. Transfer the broth to a container and set aside.
  2. Cut the salami and sausage into small cubes and fry with the beef. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Now add the broth. Chop the bell pepper, onion and cucumber and add with the sauerkraut. Add water if necessary. Season to taste with pepper and salt. If necessary add a little sugar. Season with chilli and Soljanka spices as needed. Let simmer until the peppers are tender. Finally add the ketchup.
