Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: dice the potatoes, cut the ham into fine strips, quarter the onions and cut into fine rings, core the chilli and finely chop it, finely grate the cloves of garlic with the back of a knife. Cut the fish into bite-sized cubes, salt and drizzle with a little lemon juice.
  2. Heat the oil in the pan, add the mustard seeds and heat until they start to crack. Briefly continue to jump and pop while stirring and then immediately add the potatoes, ham and onions. Fry everything for 10-15 minutes on all sides, until the potatoes are evenly browned. Add the garlic and chilli and cook for another 2 minutes. Add the fish cubes and fry for 4 minutes until the fish is whitish in color. Then add the stock and let the fish cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Put everything in an ovenproof dish, sprinkle with the grated cheese and bake the cheese in the oven for 2-3 minutes on grill setting until golden brown.
  4. Serve with a strong white wine.
