Ingredients

  • 1 slice / n wholemeal bread
  • some margarine or butter
  • 1 slice (s) cooked ham from the butcher, with a fat rim
  • 1 slice Gouda cheese or butter cheese
  • 2 egg (s)
  • some anchovy fillet (s), pickled, approx. 6 - 8
  • some herbs, mixed or herbal salt
  • some black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread. Heat the oil in a small pan. Prepare two fried eggs as usual, lightly pepper and sprinkle with the herb mixture. Salt sparingly, the fish is salty enough.
  2. Meanwhile, spread a thin layer of butter on the slice of bread. Then top with the cooked ham and cheese. Put the finished eggs on top. Top with the anchovies at the end.
  3. If you want, you can also briefly fry the anchovy fillets with the fried egg in the pan. It would also be conceivable to briefly bake the ham and cheese topped bread before the egg is positioned.
