Ingredients
- 150 g prunes
- 100 g apricot (s), dried
- 75 ml orange juice
- 2 apples, tart ones
- 1 lemon (s)
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 100 g nuts (peacans), chopped
- 0.25 teaspoon ¼ cinnamon
- 100 ml port wine, dry
- 1 turkey (baby turkey, approx. 3 - 4 kg)
- salt and pepper
- possibly cranberries
- oil

- Roughly dice the plums and apricots and bring to the boil with the orange juice. Cut the apples into cubes with lemon juice, mix the fruit with the butter, nuts and cinnamon.
- Wash the turkey and pat dry well. Rub with salt and pepper, add the filling and close tightly. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and roast in the oven at 190 ° C for about 90 minutes. Brush the roast several times with an oil and salt mixture.
- When the roasting time is over, take the turkey out and keep it warm. Boil the roast set with a little water, deglaze with the port wine and season to taste. You can also add cranberries to the sauce. But it doesn`t have to.
