  • 120 g low-fat quark
  • 120 g flour
  • 3 tablespoon cinnamon sugar

For the meringue topping:

  • 3 egg whites
  • 150 grams sugar

Instructions

  1. Wash and core the plums.
  2. Separate the eggs. Mix the egg yolks with the sugar, quark and the flour with the mixer. Beat the egg white until stiff and fold into the quark mixture. Pour the dough into a greased cake tin of 26 cm, cover with the plums and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar. Then bake at approx. 175 - 180 ° C for approx. 45 minutes on the middle rack.
  3. Beat the three egg whites until stiff, pour in the sugar, spread the egg whites on the cake and place in the oven at about 180 ° C for about 5 - 10 minutes until the meringue gets color.
