Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking soda
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 125 g suar
  • 150 g pretzel (s), (mini salt pretzels)
  • 80 ml oil, neutral
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 300 g buttermilk
  • Couverture, white
  • some pretzel sticks

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and either grease a muffin tin or line it with molds.
  2. Halve the pretzels and mix with the flour, baking powder and baking soda.
  3. Whisk the egg and add the sugar, vanilla sugar, oil and buttermilk and stir gently. Add the flour and pretzel mixture and work everything into a smooth dough.
  4. Now distribute the dough evenly on the muffin cups and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Then take it out, let it rest in the mold for another 5 minutes and remove it from the mold.
  6. Melt the couverture, break the pretzel sticks into pieces and garnish the cooled muffins with them.
