Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon bacon, fat, smoked, finely diced
  • 8 large potatoes, cooked the day before, sliced
  • 2 large onions, cut into thin wedges
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds, ground
  • 3 stalks marjoram, fresh

Instructions

  1. Leave the bacon in the pan over high heat and slowly brown the onions in it using less heat.
  2. Fry the potatoes in the onion bacon until crispy and season with salt and pepper. Pluck washed and dried marjoram leaves from the stalks and add to them.
