Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 50 g water
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 tablespoon, heaped sugar
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 tablespoon, heaped butter

For the filling:

Instructions

  1. For the dough:
  2. Sift the flour into a bowl. Make a well in the middle, mix in the remaining ingredients. Stir everything with a wooden spoon until the batter holds together nicely. Then knead the dough well on the work surface. Then wet the dough with oil and let it rest, it is best to have it at room temperature.
  3. After about 1 hour, divide the dough into 6 equal parts, wet again with oil and set aside for another hour.
  4. To fry, melt about 50 g butter and set aside.
  5. First shape the dough pieces into round flat cakes with the flat of your hand. Then pull it over the back of your hand until the dough is very thin.
  6. Before filling, prepare fruit to taste and a beaten egg.
  7. Put the thin cakes in the medium-hot pan in which the melted butter is. Put the fruit in the middle, put some egg over the fruit and fold everything up so that it forms a square piece. Pour some more melted butter on top. Turn the flatbread after approx. 1 minute. The flatbread must be golden brown.
  8. Before serving, you can also pour a chocolate sauce over it.
