Ingredients

  • 500 g pasta (macaroni)
  • Rose water (salt water)
  • 400 ml sauce (Italian pasta sauce)
  • 2 large tomato (s)
  • 200 ml cream
  • 75 g ham, diced
  • 125 g mozzarella
  • 200 g cheese (Edam), rated for sprinklin
  • 4 tablespoon basil, preferably fresh

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni in salted water until cooked. Place the tomatoes in boiling water for about 1 minute, remove and peel them. Then roughly dice. Cut the mozzarella into thin slices.
  2. Mix the pasta sauce with the cream, tomatoes, ham and basil and bring to the boil briefly. Leave some basil for decoration.
  3. Mix the pasta with the sauce and put some of it in a baking dish. Place a few mozzarella slices on top of the pasta, then again pasta and again mozzarella, etc., on top of pasta.
  4. Finally, sprinkle cheese on top and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes at 200 ° C. Arrange on plates and then sprinkle with a little basil.
