Ingredients

  • 500 g turkey breast or meat your choice
  • 1 can coconut milk, creamy
  • 4 spring onion (s)
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 200 g suar snap peas
  • 3 bell pepper (s)
  • some oil, for frying
  • a bit salt
  • some pepper
  • some curry powder
  • some paprika powder
  • some coriander, powder or fresh
  • 1 pinch (s) cayenne pepper
  • possibly herbs, fresh
  • possibly chilli pepper (s)

Instructions

  1. Clean the onion, bell pepper, sugar snap peas and spring onions and cut into pieces (approx. 1 cm wide). Cut the turkey breast into thin strips.
  2. Sear the meat in a saucepan with a little oil at a high temperature, then remove it from the saucepan. Pour in some oil. Sear the onions, then add the peppers. Season with salt, pepper, curry, paprika powder, coriander and cayenne pepper and fry until the paprika is colored (approx. 3 minutes). Now fry the snow peas and spring onions for another 2-3 minutes, then put the meat back in the pot and fill up with coconut milk.
  3. Now let the whole thing simmer for about 5 minutes until the snow peas start to soften.
  4. Rice goes best with it.
  5. Tips:
  6. Instead of turkey breast, you can of course also have chicken breast, pork or beef.
  7. If you like, you can add fresh herbs and / or finely chopped chilli with the coconut milk.
