Unsweetened Puffs with Sorrel and Cottage Cheese

A simple recipe for savory sorrel and cottage cheese puffs.

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry – 500 g
  • Sorrel – 1 large bunch
  • Cottage cheese – 250 g
  • Cheese – 100 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Directions

  1. Preparing the ingredients for sorrel, cheese and cottage cheese puff pastries. Defrost or prepare puff pastry in advance. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
  2. Cut the sorrel into small strips.
  3. We mix sorrel with cottage cheese. Add grated cheese, salt, pepper, crushed garlic.
  4. We break the egg. Mix well.
  5. Roll out the dough, divide into squares.
  6. Put the filling in the center of half of the square, grease the edges with water.
  7. Cover with the second half of the dough, pinch the edges. (We got 14 puffs.)
  8. Shake the remaining egg, grease the top of the puff pastries so that they brown in the oven.
  9. Put puff pastry pies with sorrel, cottage cheese and cheese in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
