Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 250 g sausae meat, (meat sausae)
  • 2 roll (s), cut from the day before
  • 1 cup milk, small, hot
  • 1 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped salt
  • Pepper, to taste,
  • Paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 1 tablespoon, leveled mustard, medium hot
  • 1 bunch parsley, sliced or frozen
  • 1 teaspoon thyme, finely chopped
  • 3 egg (s)
  • Breadcrumbs, to tie
  • 4 hard-boiled egg (s) for the filling
  • 1 tablespoon. Butter for the pan

Instructions

  1. Cut the rolls into small pieces and soak in hot milk.
  2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic, sauté with 1 tablespoon butter in a small pan or in the microwave.
  3. Add the minced meat, sausage meat, eggs, mustard, parsley, thyme and all the spices to the soaked bread roll and quickly knead everything into a smooth meat dough.
  4. Spread a 15 cm high baking dish with a little softened butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Now fill half of the meat dough into the baking dish and place 4 hard-boiled, peeled eggs in the middle, spread the remaining meat dough on top and cover with flakes of butter.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven at 150 ° C for approx. 1 hour in the closed casserole dish, bake for another 15 minutes without a lid at 180 ° -200 ° C until golden brown, until a nice crust has formed.
  6. My side tip: we like to eat potato salad with it!
