Ingredients

  • 40 g reen spelled meal
  • 40 g plate lentils
  • 1 medium carrot (s)
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable stock powder
  • 10 g yeast flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ paprika powder
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the green spelled grist with the lentils in a vegetable stock for about 20 minutes, stirring again and again.
  2. Cut or grate the carrot and onion into small pieces and add just before the end of the cooking time. The vegetable stock should be almost completely absorbed by the end of the cooking time, if necessary, add water during the cooking process or at the end of the cooking time let the mixture swell on the switched off hotplate.
  3. Put the mixture in a blender, add oil and season with the spices. Then the mass is pureed creamy and poured into a glass.
  4. Stored in the refrigerator, the spread will keep for more than a week.
