Ingredients
- 70 g reen spelled meal
- 200 ml water, hot
- 1 teaspoon vegetable stock powder
- 1 tablespoon yeast flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon ¼ pepper
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ paprika powder, smoked
- 1 tablespoon oil

- Scald the green spelled meal and the vegetable stock powder with the hot water and allow to swell on a low level for about 20 minutes while simmering gently. The shot should have soaked up almost all of the liquid. If necessary, add water during the cooking process or let the meal sit on the switched-off hotplate.
- Add the yeast flakes and the spices and let the mixture cool down lukewarm. Divide the mixture into three equal portions, shape into balls and flatten them into patties. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the patties on both sides for about 8 minutes.
