Ingredients

  • 800 g apples
  • 400 ml water
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 packet custard powder (vanilla)
  • 100 g raisins
  • 1 lemon (s), the juice it
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoon oatmeal (whole grain)
  • 100 g almond (s), sliced
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 400 ml sweet cream
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar
  • 2 packs cream stabilizer

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the apples. Then divide into quarters and cut into slices or cubes. Add 400 ml of water and bring to the boil. Now add the raisins to the apples and sauté until soft according to the desired consistency.
  2. In the meantime, stir the pudding powder with a sip of water and add to the apples. Bring the apple compote to the boil and season with sugar and fresh lemon juice. Now fill the compote into an appropriately sized bowl and let it cool down (best to prepare a day in advance).
  3. Caramelize the oat flakes with butter and the sliced almonds in a pan with 2 tablespoons of sugar and the cinnamon. Put on a plate and let cool down.
  4. As soon as the compote has cooled down, whip the cream with 2 sachets of vanilla sugar and - if necessary - the cream stiffener until stiff. Then distribute on the apple mixture. Spread the dry brittle on the cream.
  5. Tip: The whole thing can also be spread out well on portion bowls or glasses.
