Ingredients

  • 200 g butter or mararine
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 150 g walnuts, chopped

For the glaze:

  • 150 g powdered suar
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ cinnamon
  • Water, as needed
  • Brittle

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs and salt until frothy. Mix the flour, baking powder, cocoa and cinnamon and stir into the egg mixture. Stir in the chopped walnuts and spread on a small greased baking sheet or baking frame.
  2. Bake for about 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees. Then spread the powdered sugar and cinnamon icing while still warm.
  3. Scatter walnut or normal brittle on top.
