Ingredients

  • 750 g beef brisket
  • salt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 peppercorns
  • 2 clove (s)
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), dried
  • 1 large onion (s), cut into rings
  • 750 g potato (s)
  • 500 g carrot (s)
  • 2 leeks
  • 500 g Brussels sprouts
  • pepper
  • 1 bunch parsley

Instructions

  1. Wash the beef brisket and add to 2 liters of boiling salted water. Add the spices and onion rings. Cook for 1 1/2 hours over low heat.
  2. Peel the potatoes, clean and wash the vegetables. Cut the potatoes and carrots into cubes and the leek into rings. Add the potatoes and vegetables to the meat and cook for another 30 minutes. Then remove the meat, cut it into cubes and put it back in the stew. Remove the bay leaf, peppercorns, cloves and chilli pepper. Salt and pepper again. Sprinkle with the chopped parsley.
