  • 75 g mararine
  • 800 g flour
  • 1 cube yeast
  • 0.35 liters milk, lukewarm
  • 40 g suar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 handful sesame seeds
  • some water for brushing

Instructions

  1. First melt the margarine in a small saucepan. Then take the pot off the stove and let the margarine cool down.
  2. Put the flour in a large bowl and add sugar and salt. Mix the yeast with the lukewarm milk and add the mixture. Separate one egg and put the egg white in a small glass. Add the remaining eggs (2 egg yolks and 1 egg white) to the batter. Now the margarine can also be added and everything can be kneaded into a dough. It is best to let the yeast dough rise in the refrigerator overnight.
  3. The next morning you can shape about 5 balls of the same size from the dough and press them flat to 1 cm. Then leave the rolls in the oven covered with a cloth for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the egg white with a little water. This mixture is then brushed onto the buns. The sesame seeds are evenly distributed on this moist layer.
  4. Then bake the XXL hamburger buns for about 15 minutes at 180 ° C (convection). After baking, cover the rolls still oven-warm as desired and consume them.
