- 20 g butter
- 1 ½ egg white
- 30 g powdered suar
- 30 grams flour
- Pinch salt

- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. During this time, beat the egg white in a mixing bowl with a hand mixer until lightly foamy (but not stiff!). Stir the icing sugar and salt into the egg foam. Then stir in the flour. Only at the end add the melted butter and mix everything again briefly.
- Draw a large circle on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (I used a mixing bowl about 28 cm in diameter as a template). Now distribute the dough evenly in the circle. Bake in a preheated oven (top / bottom heat 180 degrees) for about 11 minutes. Make sure that the edges are slightly brown, but not too dark, otherwise the dough will be too dry and break when folded.
- Immediately after baking, remove the dough slightly from the baking paper with a spatula and quickly place the prepared congratulations (I cut a fist-sized heart out of cardboard as a wedding present and glued a banknote into it) in one half of the circle and fold the dough exactly in the middle . Now quickly press the curves on (left and right but not so that you can look into the biscuit and of course not on the folded edge). The middle should remain bulbous.
- For the typical kink, quickly put the biscuit on the straight side vertically over a rounded edge (I used my salt dispenser for this. Only after it has completely cooled and hardened, pack the biscuit carefully.
