Yeastless Cakes with Feta Cheese

Quick cakes with feta cheese are a great snack for dinner.

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Kefir – 200 g
  • Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Flour – 400 g
  • Cheese – 400-500 g
  • Eggs – 1 pc.
  • Oil – 20-30 g

Directions

  1. Mix kefir, vegetable oil and baking powder.
  2. Add flour gradually.
  3. Knead a smooth dough, set it aside.
  4. Grate bryndza. Mix with egg and soft butter.
  5. Divide the dough into 10-12 parts. Divide the filling into the same number of parts.
  6. Roll each part of the dough into a flat cake, 12-15 cm in diameter. Put the filling in the middle of the cake.
  7. Gather the edges of the feta cheese cake and pinch them on top.
  8. Gently roll out the cake to a size of 12-15 cm.
  9. You can bake yeast-free cakes with feta cheese both in a dry frying pan and with the addition of oil. First, you need to bake the cakes for 7 minutes on one side.
  10. And then another 7 minutes on the other.
