Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 250 g butter
  • 300 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 350 g flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 200 g sour cream

For the filling:

  • 125 g walnuts, round
  • 150 g suar, brown
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Icing sugar for dusting
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Mix the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Gradually stir in the 3 eggs well. Mix the flour and baking powder. Mix in the flour and sour cream alternately to the foamy butter-egg-sugar mixture.
  2. For the filling, mix the brown sugar, ground walnuts and cinnamon together well. Grease a wreath shape well. Now put 1/3 of the dough into the mold, add half of the nut mixture, 1/3 of the dough again, the rest of the nut mixture and then the rest of the dough. Using a fork, stir the dough with the filling in a spiral.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes and let rest for another 15 minutes. Turn the cake out and when it has cooled dust with powdered sugar. The cake can be frozen well.
