- 400 g arlic, youn shoots
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- Sea salt, coarse
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)

- Clean the young garlic and cut into pieces approx. 5 cm long.
- Heat olive oil in a pan, add the garlic and fry on all sides over medium heat for about 5 to 10 minutes (depending on thickness). The garlic should turn light brown but not too dark. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt and serve.
- Goes very well with fried meat and fish.
- A very good tasting variant is to sprinkle the garlic pieces with a little sugar just before the end and let them caramelize.
