Almond-Breaded Savoy Cabbage Schnitzels

I want to say that these cabbage schnitzels – savoy cabbage and without flour – are incredibly delicious on their own. For the schnitzels, we need the top leaves of the savoy cabbage, a couple of eggs, almond slices, oil for frying, and just 1 cup of milk.

Ingredients

  • Savoy cabbage – top leaves of the 1st head of cabbage
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Almond plates
  • Vegetable oil – for frying
  • Milk – 1 glass
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper

Directions

  1. First, fold the top of the cabbage leaf down.
  2. Then we bend both sides inward.
  3. We turn off.
  4. Place in a bowl with beaten eggs.
  5. Dip in almonds on one side. I just sprinkle the top side, it’s easier for me.
  6. And put it in a frying pan. I give advice on how to check the oil, whether it is ready for frying: have a thin wooden stick or wooden spoon in the kitchen; dip the pen in oil, if bubbles appear around – feel free to start frying.
  7. Turn over.
  8. Enjoy your meal!
