  • 400 g puree (anko), Japanese red, sweet bean paste
  • 200 ml condensed milk
Anko – Ice Cream
Anko – Ice Cream

Instructions

  1. This Anko ice cream is very easy to prepare and tastes pleasantly like Anko.
  2. I used tsubushian in this recipe. If you don`t like bits of ice, you should use Koshian instead.
  3. Put anko and condensed milk in a bowl and stir well.
  4. Either put the mixture in an ice cream maker and prepare according to the manufacturer`s instructions, or put it in a cold-proof dish that holds about 1 liter and place in the freezer for 5-6 hours. Stir the ice with a fork every 30 minutes so that no large ice crystals form.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
