Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 500 g flour, sifted
  • 1 cube yeast
  • 100 g butter, melted, lukewarm
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 250 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 1 sachet vanilla sugar

For the filling:

  • 3 apples, sweetish (e.g. Elstar), peeled, finely diced
  • 75 grams sugar
  • cinnamon
  • 100 g raisins
  • 2 tablespoon butter, melt

For the cast:

  • 150 g powdered suar
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • some lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Mix 100 ml milk and yeast with 1 tablespoon sugar. Dust with a little flour and let rise for 15 minutes. Add the remaining dough ingredients. Knead well for about 10 minutes with the dough hook of the mixer, let rise for 60 minutes.
  2. Mix the apples with the cinnamon. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and brush with the melted butter. Leave a 1 cm wide margin free. Sprinkle the sugar on it. Spread the apples and raisins on top.
  3. Roll up from the long side and cut into 15 slices. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in the oven preheated to 175 ° C for about 20 minutes. Mix the ingredients for the topping and spread them on the snails that are still warm.
