Dissolve the yeast in 100 ml milk and 1 tablespoon sugar. Knead with the rest of the dough ingredients. Let go for 40 minutes. Mix the apples with the lemon juice, raisins and vanilla sugar.
Roll out the yeast dough into a rectangle (approx. 36 x 40 cm). Spread the poppy seed filling on top, sprinkle with the apples. Roll up from the long side. Cut about 2 cm thick slices, place on 2 baking sheets lined with baking paper and let rise for another 15 minutes.
Brush with the remaining liquid butter and bake one after the other in the oven preheated to 175 ° C for about 15 minutes. Make a topping from powdered sugar and the rest of the lemon juice and brush the snails with it after baking.
