Ingredients

  • 200 g flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 100 g quark
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 4 tablespoon oil

For covering:

  • 150 g bacon, mixed
  • 400 g onion (s)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 apples, tart ones
  • 200 ml sour cream
  • 4 tablespoon crème fraîche
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 80 g cheese (Emmentaler), rated
  • salt and pepper
  • Fat for the shape
  • 50 g walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chives, chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour with the salt and baking powder. Add the quark, milk and oil. Knead the ingredients with the hand mixer with dough hook briefly on the lowest, then on the highest level. Chill the dough for about 20 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, cut the bacon into strips. Peel the onions and cut into thin rings. Fry the bacon in a pan without fat and remove it. Melt the butter and sweat the onion rings for a few minutes. Peel and quarter the apples and remove the core. Cut into thin wedges and mix with onions, sour cream, creme fraiche, eggs, cheese, salt and pepper.
  3. Roll out the dough and place in a greased springform pan or quiche form approx. 26 cm in diameter. Form a 2 cm high border. Put the filling on the dough and spread the bacon on top. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
  4. Bake on the lowest rack in the oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. Sprinkle with chives before serving.
