Apple Pie with Creamy Caramel

This recipe’s apple pie is perfect for homemade tea. Apple pie is prepared in vegetable oil, it turns out to be lush, soft, with a pleasant apple flavor. Creamy caramel perfectly complements the cake and gives it a special charm.

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • Apples – 2-3 pcs.
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Flour – 1.5 cups
  • Sugar – 1 glass
  • Odorless vegetable oil – 2/3 cup
  • Baking dough – 1.5 teaspoon
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon

For creamy caramel:

  • Cream 20% – 50 ml
  • Brown sugar – 0.5 cups
  • Butter – 50 g

Instructions

  1. Break eggs into a bowl, add sugar and vanilla sugar. Beat eggs with sugar. Pour in vegetable oil and beat again. Mix flour with baking powder. Gradually adding the sifted flour, knead the dough. The dough for the pie should be quite thick and viscous.
  2. Wash the apples, peel, remove the core. Cut the peeled apples into small pieces. Stir apples into the dough.
  3. Put the dough in a baking dish and place in an oven preheated to 190 degrees. Bake the apple pie for 40 minutes. Check the readiness of the cake with a wooden skewer – it must be dry. Remove the finished apple pie from the oven and cool without removing it from the mold.
    Then carefully remove the pan and transfer the cake to the wire rack.
  4. Melt butter in a ladle, add brown sugar, and put on low heat. When the sugar begins to dissolve, pour in the cream and put on low heat again. Stirring occasionally, gradually bring to a boil, and sugar is completely dissolved. After boiling, cook the creamy caramel for another 1-2 minutes. After that, the creamy frosting can be applied to the apple pie. If the frosting is runny, wait until it cools slightly and thickens. Apply creamy caramel to the cake and leave to set.
