Preheat the oven to 190 ° C (fan oven 170 ° C), grease and flour the muffin tray or line with baking tins.
Peel and quarter the apples and cut into small cubes. Mix the flour, baking soda and baking powder. Beat butter, milk and yoghurt with sugar until frothy, stir in eggs, add cinnamon. Briefly stir in the flour mixture by hand. Fold in the apple cubes.
Pour the dough into the molds, under no circumstances should it look over the edge, 3/4 is ideal. Bake for about 25 minutes. Mix the sugar and cinnamon 10 minutes before the end of baking and pour over the muffins very quickly (if possible, do not allow any puff, only interrupt the baking process!)
Let cool down briefly and lift out of the tray.
