- 1 bunch asparagus
- 2 tomato (s)
- 80 ml olive oil
- 50 ml balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoon chives or wild garlic, freshly chopped
- salt and pepper
- sugar
- 1 teaspoon tomato paste

- Cook the asparagus as usual.
- Peel and core the tomatoes and cut the tomato flesh into small, even cubes. Mix a salad dressing from oil, vinegar and tomato paste and season with salt, pepper and sugar. Mix in the diced tomatoes and the chives or wild garlic.
- Place the hot asparagus in the sauce and let it steep for about 10 minutes. Serve warm.
- Of course, this sauce can also be used for other salads.
