Ingredients

  • 150 g powdered suar
  • 150 g flour, smooth
  • 5 egg (s)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 0.5 ½ glass apricot jam (apricot), without pieces

Instructions

  1. Beat the whole eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy (the volume should be more than double the size). Slowly and carefully fold in the sifted flour with a whisk. Spread the airy dough mixture on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 10 minutes on the middle rack (you should stay close to pierce any bubbles and check that the dough is not too dark).
  3. Place the sponge cake with the paper on a surface. Cut off the edges and brush well with the apricot jam. Now roll the coated sponge dough into a roll and peel off the baking paper.
  4. Finally dust with powdered sugar. Cut into slices and serve.
