Instructions

  1. Divide the onions in the middle and cut a 1 cm thick slice from each half (this will be the bones for the stump). Peel off the outer layer of the onion halves (will be the toenails). Dice the rest. Finely chop or press the garlic. Mix the minced meat with the egg, breadcrumbs, spices and spice ketchup and shape into 2 feet on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (convection). Place a tablespoon of the chili sauce on each stump (retains its color and consistency when baking) and put a slice of onion on each. For the toenails, the onion layer is trimmed and spread over the toes. Now put your feet in the oven for about 30 minutes. Shortly before the end of the baking time, a little more chili sauce can be spread on the bone and around the stump. After baking, the foot can be served either warm or cold.
  3. The taste goes very well with pumpkin quiche or soup, on bread / rolls or just like that.
  4. Was the first thing at the party that was gone and everyone had fun at the buffet.
