Ingredients

  • 500 g cheese (Emmentaler)
  • 100 g flour
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 150 g breadcrumbs, fresh (or breadcrumbs)
  • 100 g lard
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 1 pinch (s) pepper
  • 1 pinch (s) paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Debark the fresh Emmentaler and cut into approx. 1 cm thick slices.
  2. Mix the eggs with salt, pepper and paprika. Dip the Emmental slices first in the egg mixture and then in breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat the fat in the pan and fry the Emmental slices in the pan for about 3 minutes until golden brown on both sides.
