Ingredients

4 large potato (s)
olive oil
salt
Herbs, fresh, as desired, leaves or twigs depending on the size

Instructions

Wash the potatoes (scrub them with a brush if necessary) and cut them in half crosswise.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the potatoes with the cut side up on the baking sheet and brush the cut surface with oil and salt. Place a branch, stem or leaf from the various herbs and turn the potato over, i.e. place it on the baking sheet with the cut surface facing down. Brush the back of the potato with oil and also season with salt.
Bake at about 180 ° (convection) for about 40 minutes - depending on the size of the potatoes. Possibly do a cooking test with a wooden skewer. Arrange the potatoes on a platter or plate with the cut surface facing up.
The potatoes are easy to prepare and are a real eye-catcher on every table.
Goes well with barbecues and is always popular at parties or buffets. If you don`t like olive oil that much, just replace it with another oil.
Also tastes very good as a vegetarian main course with Majas Tzatziki
