Ingredients

  • 450 g scampi, peeled (frozen)
  • 1 packet herbs (8-herb mix, frozen)
  • 1 point butter
  • Clove garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 baguette (s), for baking

Instructions

  1. Thaw the scampi, wash them under cold running water and drain. Possibly Remove the remains of the intestine by scratching the back of the scampi with a potato peeler and pulling out the intestine.
  2. Melt the butter in an ovenproof glass bowl, e.g. in the microwave, until it is liquid. Then add the herbs. Press the garlic cloves and add them to the butter-herb mixture. Season with salt and pepper and finally add the scampi. Bake in the oven without a lid at 180 ° C for about 45 minutes, or a little shorter if the oven is preheated. When the butter looks slightly brown, the scampi are ready.
  3. Bake the baguettes in the oven according to the instructions on the packet.
  4. Tip: It`s best to eat the scampi straight out of the bowl, then they stay hot longer and dip the baguette into the delicious sauce.
