Put a few leaves of basil aside for decoration. Put the remaining ingredients in a cocktail shaker along with a few ice cubes and shake very vigorously. Let it stand for a minute, this will give the Basil Smash a really nice green color.
Then pour the whole thing through a sieve onto new ice cubes, preferably in a tumbler. Decorate with basil leaves.
