Ingredients

  • 500 g kohlrabi
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt
  • Pepper, colored, from the mill
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar
  • some lemon juice
  • Basil, roughly torn

Instructions

  1. Clean, peel, halve and cut the kohlrabi into wedges. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan, add the kohlrabi and simmer over a medium heat while stirring for about 2 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and sugar. Add 2 tablespoons of water and cook the kohlrabi covered over low heat for about 10 minutes, it should still have a bite. Drizzle with 1 to 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and season with salt and pepper if necessary. Sprinkle with a few roughly torn basil leaves.
