Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 2 clove (s) garlic, crushed
  • 250 ml chilli sauce
  • 200 g tomato paste
  • 5 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish, (cream horseradish)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon seeds, (onion seeds)
  • 2 tablespoon cane sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt

Instructions

  1. Fry the onions and garlic in oil until lightly. Add all other ingredients and let the sauce simmer for at least 10 minutes. Taste nice and hot. Be careful, the sauce sharpens!
  2. If the sauce is filled into sterilized jars, it will keep for several weeks. Store in the refrigerator after opening, cover the surface with a little oil, then it will keep better.
  3. Most of the time, however, it is used up quickly.
