Belgian Waffles for Electric Waffle Iron

A homemade electric waffle iron often saves me. Thanks to her, I prepare delicious breakfasts. And not just one recipe, but try different ones. This time the choice fell on this option. Read on!

Serving: 3-4


  • Wheat flour – 130 Grams
  • Butter – 50 Grams
  • Dark chocolate – 50 grams
  • Milk – 100 Milliliters
  • Vegetable oil – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Sugar – 4 Tbsp. spoons
  • Dry yeast – 2 Teaspoons
  • Vanilla Extract – 2 Drops
  • Rum Extract – 2 Drops
  • Salt – 1 Pinch
  • Egg – 1 Piece


  1. Heat the milk to 40 degrees. Then add yeast and sugar to it. Mix everything well
  2. Beat in an egg and add 2 types of extract. Stir the mixture with a whisk.
  3. Next, sift the flour and add salt, continuing to stir.
  4. Finally, melt the butter and add it to the dough. Leave the mixture in a warm place under the n plastic for 1 hour
  5. Meanwhile, turn the chocolate into crumbs.
  6. Then add chocolate to the finished dough. Stir it again.
  7. Place some of the dough in an electric waffle iron. Bake the waffles for about 5 minutes.
  8. The waffles are ready! Serve with berries and chocolate syrup. Enjoy your tea!
