Vienna Waffles in an Electric Waffle Iron

Do you have an electric waffle iron? Let’s bake insanely delicious, soft inside and crispy outside Vienna waffles. The famous waffles are easy to prepare and perfect for a family breakfast

Serving: 3-4


  • Flour – 250 Grams
  • Butter – 100 grams
  • Milk – 150 Milliliters
  • Egg – 3 Pieces
  • Sugar – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Salt – 1 Pinch
  • Soda – 0.5 Teaspoons
  • Vanillin – 1 Teaspoon
  • Lemon juice – 0.5 Teaspoons (or vinegar)


  1. The first step is to melt the butter in a water bath, and then beat it along with the sugar.
  2. Then add eggs and beat again.
  3. Add lukewarm milk and flour. Mix this mixture well.
  4. Now it’s the turn of soda, slaked with lemon juice or vinegar. Mix again, the dough should not be very thick, but not liquid either.
  5. We set aside the dough for 20 minutes, then the waffles will turn out to be lush and beautiful.
  6. Heat the waffle iron, lightly grease with vegetable oil and spread the dough. We fry the waffles for 3-6 minutes.
  7. Grease the finished waffles with condensed milk or honey and glue two pieces together. And we also treat the family hot.
