Ingredients

  • 250 g beans, black beans (or red kidney beans)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • some broth
  • 1 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste

Instructions

  1. Sweat the onion in olive oil, add the tomato paste, sweat, add the beans and add the stock, season with cumin.
  2. Let the stock reduce until the beans are soft and there is almost no liquid left. Season with salt and pepper and strain.
  3. Fits as a spread and is also one of the classic fajitas sauces (like guacamole).
