Ingredients

  • 1 packet puff pastry or pizza dough (rolled, refrigerated shelf)
  • 1 broccoli
  • 350 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 250 g bacon, diced
  • 150 g cheese (Gouda or Emmentaler), rated
  • 75 g almond (s) (almond flakes)
  • pepper
  • salt
  • Nutmeg, grated
  • 1 tablespoon oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Line a tart or springform pan with the dough and make sure that the edge is approx. 2 cm high.
  2. Clean the broccoli and cut into small florets. Bring the florets to the boil in salted water until they are cooked firm to the bite. In the meantime, fry the bacon in the pan with oil.
  3. Put the quark in a bowl and beat with the eggs to a cream. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Fold in the drained broccoli florets and bacon. Pour the cream in the middle of the pan and smooth it out. Possibly press in the broccoli florets a little. Scatter the cheese on top and finally the almond flakes on top.
  4. The cake has to be put in the preheated oven for approx. 25 minutes at 200 ° C (always refer to the leaflet for the dough). It`s ready as soon as it`s got a nice crispy crust. Serve hot.
  5. Tip: You can of course prepare this tart with other vegetables such as cauliflower, leek or Romanescou.
