Ingredients

  • 500 g broccoli
  • Water (salt water)
  • 2 cups cream cheese (country cream) or sour cream
  • 5 egg (s)
  • 200 g cheese (Emmentaler), rated
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch (s) nutmeg
  • breadcrumbs
  • some butter or margarine or oil

Instructions

  1. Clean the broccoli, cut into pieces and cook in salted water for 10 minutes. Take out of the water, drain and set aside.
  2. Whisk the cream cheese with the eggs and the grated Emmentaler and season the mixture well with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  3. Spread the broccoli in it and pour the egg mixture over it. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C and bake the broccoli flan for 20-25 minutes, until the egg mixture has thickened and is lightly browned.
  4. The broccoli flan goes well with a steak. It is certainly a calorie bomb, but very tasty and easy to prepare.
