  • 250 ml water
  • 250 ml rum, 40% strength
  • 8 egg (s), including the yolk
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 pinch ginger, ground
  • 1 pinch clove (s), ground
  • 1 pinch lemon (s) - peel, dried

Instructions

  1. Heat the water, do not boil it. Also heat the rum. Keep both warm. Beat the egg yolks in a saucepan with the sugar until frothy. Add the hot water while stirring constantly. Season to taste with the spices and stir in the preheated rum. Serve the hot, frothy drink in preheated punch glasses.
