Ingredients

  • 1 package bulgur, coarse
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 4 potato (s)
  • Curry powder
  • possibly curry paste
  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1 onion (s)
  • possibly garlic
  • possibly mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Cook the bulgur as described on the package. I always add potatoes to the water and cook them too. Drain when the bulgur and potatoes are tender. Peel potatoes.
  2. Sauté onions and possibly garlic in a pan, if you want to use mushrooms or similar, fry them a little first.
  3. Then add chickpeas, potatoes (cut into slices or cubes), stir and then deglaze with coconut milk. Add a lot of curry powder and possibly curry paste, it should be nice and yellow. Let it simmer until it is nice and hot.
  4. I like to eat naan bread with it.
  5. Warms up well again.
